Tamera Elizabeth Clowes-Gladkowski, 54, of Smithsburg, Md., passed away Sunday at the Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown, Md.

Born April 15, 1957, in Butler, she was the daughter of Reuben and Janet (Doerr) Clowes.

Tamera was a graduate of Knoch High School. She retired with 34 years of federal Civil Service with the Department of Defense.

She enjoyed quilting and sewing, listening to audio books, caring and doing for others, bargain shopping and spoiling her four Shih Tzus.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Gladkowski of Smithsburg, Md.; her daughter, Melissa Sheree Gladkowski of Hagerstown, Md.; and her parents, Reuben and Janet Clowes of Cabot.

<B>CLOWES-GLADKOWSKI </B>— Friends of Tamera Elizabeth Clowes-Gladkowski, who died Sunday, April 17, 2011, will be received Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. A funeral service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Barry Keurulainen officiating. Interment will follow in St. Luke Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.Information also is available at www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
