Scheehle

Phyllis J. (Monigold) Scheehle, 88, of Janesville, Wis., passed away Sunday at the St. Elizabeth Nursing Home, Janesville.

She was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, Aug. 19, 1922, the daughter of Elwood and Kate (Minard) Monigold.

She married her beloved husband, William D. Scheehle, Sept. 17, 1942, in Martins Ferry. He preceded her in death April 20, 2000.

Phyllis worked at the General Motors Plant in the cafeteria for Profit Foods. She was a committee person for the cafeteria and belonged to UAW Local 95.

She is survived by two children, William F. (Kathy) Scheehle of Parker, Pa., and D. Jean Nagel of Janesville; four grandchildren, Kimberly (Jeff) Heller of Footville, Wis., Terry (Sue) Scheehle of Tucson, Ariz., and Daniel W. and Carol A. Nagel, both of Janesville; special friends, Carol Scheehle of Milton, Wis., and Norma Heary and Theodore (Linda) Nagel, both of Janesville; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Elsie Glenn, Dorothy Glenn and Betty Scheehle; and two brothers, Robert and George Monigold.

The family is deeply thankful for the love and respectful care given to their mother by Dr. Kathryn Lilley, Debra Schneider and the nuns, nurses and staff of the St. Elizabeth Nursing Home.
