The Northern Steel Soccer Club’s Under-15 girls Navy team won the 2011 Columbus Blast Tournament in Ohio recently.

Goal scorers in the tourney included Kyler Lum and Roya Fashandi with two each, Macy Stanaker of Butler and Olivia Sharbaugh of Sarver with a goal and assist each, Lydia Dennis and Melina George of Mars with a goal each.

The Navy squad also defeated the TC Vipers of Clearfield 3-2 last weekend. Fashandi, Lum and Dennis were the goal scorers.
