John 'Jack' Haugh

John T. “Jack” Haugh, 77, of Butler died at 5:45 a.m. Sunday in the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born Oct. 17, 1933, in Oil City, he was the son of the late Thomas Patrick Haugh and Ann L. Stanton Haugh.

Mr. Haugh was a sales representative for the Brown & Williamson Co., retiring in 1991.

He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

Mr. Haugh was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Signal Corps.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 778 of Lyndora and the Slovak Golf League. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking, making clocks, and traveling.

He graduated from Oil City High School in 1952.

Mr. Haugh is survived by his wife, Marjorie (Duncan) Haugh, who he married Aug. 18, 1952; two sons, John W. and his wife, Diana, Haugh of Grove City and Michael D. Haugh of Granger, Ind.; three grandsons, John Jason Haugh and his wife, Rebecca, of Pleasant Hills, Shaun Haugh of New York, N.Y., and Justin Haugh of Grove City.

<B>HAUGH</B> — Friends John T. “Jack” Haugh, who died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, will be received at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.The St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers will meet at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church to recite the rosary.Contributions may be made to the VNA Inpatient Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001.Information and a private guest book are available at www.thompson-miller.com.
