Carol A. Ietto, 78, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

She was born in Butler on Nov. 1, 1947, daughter of the late Edgar and Mae (Wellner) Engle.

She was employed in the dietary department at Sunnyview Nursing Center.

Carol was known for being a very positive, caring and loving person who cherished her friends and family. She was very active and enjoyed playing pickleball and bowling, walking, gardening and bicycling.

Carol was the beloved wife of the late Dominic “Mick” Ietto. She is survived by her son, Bradley Pflugh; and siblings, Roger, Fred, Susan, Albert, Kristin and Edgar. She is also survived by many dear friends.

Along with her parents and husband; Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis.

IETTO — Family and friends of Carol A. Ietto, who died Tuesday, July 14, 2026, will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A Catholic blessing service will begin at 4 p.m. A closing prayer will immediately follow the gathering in the funeral home.

Donations may be made in honor of Carol to the Butler County Historical Society, 123 W. Diamond St., Butler, PA 16001.
