YOUTH HOCKEY
PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Huskies Bantam AA hockey team won the Pittsburgh Three Rivers Cup over the weekend.
The team won five consecutive games over a three-day span, defeating the Pittsburgh Predators 5-0 in the championship game. The Huskies outscored their competition 18-3 in the tourney.
Clay Bachman had 38 saves and Parker Sherry had 27 for the Huskies. Troy Double and Christian Miller scored three goals each.
Dustin Davis, Mike Granata and Cam Lydick scored two goals each, with Jason Edsall, Tyler Hudak, Ethan Marie, Brandon Ritchey, Matt Tomasovic and Nick Whann netted one each.
Other championship team members are Noah Moody, Eric Leya and Cody Krstonich.
