The Butler freshman football team improved to 3-3 Wednesday night with a 27-13 win over Pine-Richland.

Thomas Jendesky threw a 70-yard touchdown pass to Jared Blakeley. Jendesky scored on a 5-yard run, Matt Christy on a 10-yard run and Trevor Monteleone on a 30-yard run.

Christian Kovach converted three PATs.

Keying the defense were Ryan Hannon, Richard Marnic, Vinny Lowerre, Austin Grupp, Cody Christy, Kovach, Monteleone and Tyler Widenhofer.

Butler's freshman host Shaler at 7 p.m. Thursday.
