Center Township scored all 30 of its points in the first half Saturday while staying undefeated with a 30-20 Butler Area Midget Football League victory over Meridian at Memorial Park.as

Lucas Dubyak scored on a 39-yard run and Jamison Smith added the conversion run on the first touchdown for the Rams (5-0). Dubyak's 2-yard scoring run and Max Bachman's conversion run hiked the lead to 16-0.

A fumble by Meridian (2-3) set up the third CT touchdown, and Jared Hinkle ran a yard for the fourth score. Smith tossed a conversion pass to Bachman.

Meridian responded in the second half as Shane McCleary scored on a 28-yard run and Reid Werth scored on a 10-yard effort. Matt Sarvey added a conversion run.

Werth scored on a 43-yard run in the final seconds of the game.

East Butler 34, Butler City 0 — Jeremy Moorhead scored on a pair of 1-yard runs for East Butler (1-4) before throwing a 3-yard touchdown pass to Nathan Kibbie. Jacob Trinkley ran for the conversion.Trinkley scored on a 4-yard run in the fourth quarter and Kibbie returned an interception 40 yards for a touchdown. Rhett Wahler added a conversion run against Butler City (2-3).Games this Saturday at Memorial Park feature Butler City against Meridian at 5 p.m., Center Township vs. East Butler at 7.
