Edna Mae Alwine
Edna Mae Alwine, 84, of Butler died Friday at Good Samaritan Hospice.
Born Oct. 16, 1925, in Brackenridge, she was the daughter of Earl and Clara Kurn Roudybush.
Edna was a Presbyterian. She enjoyed bowling, knitting, crocheting and bingo.
Surviving are her son, John (Ginene) Alwine of Butler, two daughters, Connie (Larry) Heitzer of Butler and Mary Lou Myers of Florida; four brothers, John (Jean) Roudybush of Worthington, Ted (Darlene) Roudybush of Cambridge Springs, Pa., Ralph (Kelly) Roudybush of Shippenville, Pa., and Bill (Dawn) Roudybush of Texas; a sister, Iva Sanford of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband, John R. Alwine Sr., on July 21, 1994; a daughter, Trudy Alwine-Lombardo; two brothers, Ray and Earl Roudybush, and a sister, Martha Crum.
<B>ALWINE</B> — Friends of Edna Mae Alwine, who died Friday, May 21, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Richard Jenks officiating. Interment will follow in Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery.
