LYNDORA — The Lyndora Lancers Palomino baseball team split a pair of games recently, defeating Shadyside 5-2 and dropping a 10-8 decision to North Hills.

Josh Dailey pitched a five-hitter against Shadyside and Buddy Reckick had two singles for the Lancers.

Tyler Wiest contributed a double, and Cody Williams, Roman Bargo, C.J. Miller and Brad Fuhrer added a single each.

David Schmidt had a double and two singles against North Hills.

Bargo had three singles, and Wiest and Fuhrer recorded two singles each in a losing effort.

Williams and Nick Shanor each recorded a double for the Lancers.
