Miller

John N. Miller, 89, of Las Vegas, Nev., died April 13.

Born in Herman, Nov. 28, 1920, he was the son of Luella McLaughlin Miller and William E. Miller.

He enlisted in the Air Force at age 18 and was in World War II and the Korean War. He remained in the Civil Service until 1954.

He married his wife, Mattie Miller, on Nov. 20, 1958. They adopted and raised four girls.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and four brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Mattie; his daughters; and a grandson, Steven, who he raised. Also surviving are his brother, Leo Miller of Butler, and his sister, Dorothy Schnur of Herman.
