Dorothy M. Isaly, 89, formerly of Evans City, died peacefully Friday.

Born March 19, 1921, in Evans City, she was the daughter of Walter and Edith (Harper) Wise.

Mrs. Isaly had lived in Florida for more than 30 years before returning to the area.

She was a former member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Evans City.

She is survived by her sister, Doris I. Straessley of Cranberry Township; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great nieces.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, H. David Isaly, who died Feb. 3, 1959; her brother, Harold W. Wise, who died Sept. 14, 2006; and her husband, Mark T. Isaly, who died Dec. 2, 2006.
