Ricky D. Goepfert, 54, of Kittanning died Saturday at Allegheny General Hospital.

He was born Sept. 7, 1955, in Natrona Heights.

Ricky worked at Big Lots in Kittanning.

He as a member of the 307 MP Co., Military Reserves, for 22 years in New Kensington. He also served in the Air Force for four years. He was deployed in Germany during Operation Desert Storm, and he also was deployed in Bosnia.

He was a member of the Union Avenue United Methodist Church in Kittanning.

Mr. Goepfert enjoyed spending time with his pets, Maggi and Jade, and watching the Penguins and Steelers, Walker Texas Ranger and NCIS.

He is survived by his wife, Lori (Febinger) Goepfert; two daughters, Mallori and Mikayla, at home; his mother and stepfather, Margaret "Mudge" Bowser and her husband, Roy, of Worthington; his grandmother, Frances Goepfert of Worthington; a brother, Curt Bowser and his wife, Debbie, of Cowansville; a sister, Lori Bowser of Worthington; his mother-in-law, Lois Febinger of Kittanning; several nieces and nephews; and two great-nephews.

Ricky was preceded in death by his grandfather, Henry Goepfert; and his father-in-law, Thomas Febinger.

<B>GOEPFERT</B> — Friends of Ricky D. Goepfert, who died Saturday, April 24, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME </B>in Kittanning.
