Marjorie M. Stewart of Riverton, Wyo., died April 14 at Wind River Healthcare, Riverton. She was 87.

Marjorie May Chapman was born May 12, 1922, in Rochester, Pa., the daughter of Rolland and Ester Elma (Durr) Chapman and grew up in Rochester.

She married Carl Stewart in August 1946.

She worked as a bookkeeper for her and her husband's business for several years and enjoyed cooking and gardening and had a zest for life.

Surviving are her sons, Carl of Riverton and Jeffrey and his wife, Joann, of Butler; daughters, Carol Ann Walker of Chicora and Beverly Jean Martin of Beaver Falls; two brothers, Jerry Chapman and Billy McPherson of California; 14 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, in 2002; and her granddaughter, Patricia Walker, in 1980.
