Marie E. Thomas, 84, of Zelienople died Monday at Ellwood City Hospital.

Born Dec. 6, 1925, in Forward Township, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Jennie Rape.

Mrs. Thomas was a member of English Lutheran Church in Zelienople. She belonged to the 60s Plus club, and she enjoyed going out to lunch with her friends after Sunday services.

She is survived by two sons, Edward and Robert Thomas, both of Zelienople; a daughter, June Dimond of Florida; a brother, Paul E. Rape of Evans City; a niece, Carol Riggs; five grandchildren, James, Steven and Michael Thomas and Richard Hoffman and Robert Dimond; and four great-grandchildren.
