Connoquenessing Twp — Honda North representatives cut the ribbon for their new site on Route 68 on Wednesday.

"We're very excited to be in our new facility," said Jon Palmiero, Honda North owner. "We are pleased with how smoothly the whole process went."

The larger building has a number of new features including an 18-car showroom, an indoor customer delivery area, a children's play area, a larger customer lounge, a car wash, and the Honda Speed Shop, which sells vehicle accessories, according to Palmiero.

The lot will hold about 250 new cars and 200 certified used cars, said Howard Neff, Honda North partner.

Honda representatives, members of the Butler County Chamber of Commerce, and a Connoquenessing Township supervisor attended the event.

"Honda North has made a substantial investment in the Honda brand," Mike Oberschelp, Honda district sales manager, said. "We look forward to Honda North's continued success in the area."

Honda North's lease at its previous location, which was about 500 feet away on Route 68, was up at the end of April.

"The economics were better for us to move than continue to lease," Neff said. "Having something brand new is always nice."
