The Butler junior high boys track and field team ran its dual meet winning streak to 40 recently with a 90-37 triumph over Pine-Richland.

First-place finishers for Butler were Byron Minous in the 110 high hurdles and 200 meters, Tyler Widenhofer in the 100 meters, Richard Marnic in the 3,200 meters and triple jump, Wesley McCurdy in the long jump, Tyler Roudybush in the high jump, Josh Boozel in the pole vault, Jacob Lenhart in the shot put and discus.

The Golden Tornado's 400 meter relay team of Matt Christy, Minous, Widenhofer and Robert Burdine, and with the 1,600 meter relay unit of Burdine, Minous, Jeff Bailey and Austin Grupp also won.
