The Butler third- and fourth-grade boys lacrosse team edged Pine-Richland 7-6 recently. Goalie Alex Culbertson made 14 saves in the victory.

Ben Kranbacher scored two goals for the Tornado, while Jonathon Jablonski, Brayden Thomas, Jack Regal and Connor Bachman one each.

Dawson Goltz scored five goals for Pine-Richland.

The Butler junior high girls defeated Fox Chapel (79-38) and Mars (75X\c-42Z\c) Tuesday.Overall winners for the Tornado included Rachel Weyand (1,600 run, 800), Haley Smith (shot put, discus), Alyssa DiPippa (long jump, triple jump), Abby Fugh (100 hurdles) and Amanda Sybert (3,200).
