Troy Double scored two goals and Nick Whann one as the Butler freshman hockey team skated to a 3-3 tie with Burrell Thursday night at the Valley Sports Complex.

Clay Bachman had nine saves in goal for the Golden Tornado (6-4-3) while Dan Cannon, Matt Tomasovic and Brett Sybert had one assist each.

Butler faces Deer Lakes at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at The Ice Connection.
