The Butler Junior High wrestling team improved to 12-1 Wednesday with a 79-12 triumph over Seneca Valley.

Getting pins for the Golden Tornado were Cody Houston, Mason Kauffman, Xavier Bennett, David Slomers, Will Bortmas, Ryan Hannon and Zack Weaver.

Patrick Lokhaiser won by major decision, Korey Caudill and Jake Olenick by decision.

Thomas Jendesky scored 11 points and Alec Geibel had 10 to lead the Butler eighth-grade White team to a 43-30 victory over North Allegheny Carson.Cory Wheeler scored eight points and Rich Marnic five for Butler (4-4).• Justice Lewandowski scored 25 points, including six 3-pointers, to lead the Butler seventh-grade team White to a 44-32 win over NA Carson. Keenan Krause added 10 points for the Golden Tornado (6-2).
