Troy Double scored Butler's lone goal as the Golden Tornado freshman hockey team suffered a 3-1 loss to Shaler Thursday at the Ice Connection.
Goalie Clay Bachman stopped 15 of 18 shots for Butler (4-2). The Golden Tornado play Ford City at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Belmont Arena.
