Fashions by Roberto Rivadeneira will be among those by six designers featured in the 2009 Fashion Show hosted Dec. 12 at The Art Center, 344 S. Main St.

The 2009 Fashion Show featuring six designers showcasing designs colorful, vibrant and elegant will be held Dec. 12 at The Art Center, 344 S. Main St.

The fashion event will feature the creations of six designers from Butler, Pittsburgh, Brazil and Ecuador.

The designers include: Zombie Apparel, Meagan Greynolds, Lana Neumeyer, Roberto Rivadeneira, Jessica Stillwagon and Allison Zehmisch.

More than 40 models will help display the fashions, along with hair and makeup provided by JC Penney Salon, Regis Salon and Bon-Ton in Butler.

During the fashion event, an appetizer reception, cash bar and Chinese auction will be available and musical entertainment provided.

The show, which will take place during The Art Center's annual Holiday Show and Sale, is a fundraising event.

Doors for the evening will open at 7 p.m. and the show will begin at 8 p.m.

Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Only 100 tickets are available at a cost of $15 per person in advance or $20 if available at the door.

Regular gallery hours are noon to 6 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, noon to 9 p.m. Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Regular admission is free.
