Jennings presentation to highlight local contributions to U.S. founding
As America approaches its 250th anniversary, Jennings Environmental Education Center will have a look at a part of Revolutionary history that is often overlooked — Western Pennsylvania’s role in the founding of the U.S.
Wil Taylor, manager of Jennings Environmental Education Center, will explore the conflicts, cultures and competing ideas of freedom that shaped the frontier regions of present-day Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia in a presentation June 17.
It will begin at 7 p.m. June 17 at the environmental education center, 2951 Prospect Road in Brady Township. The program is free to attend, and is an initiative by the organization 3MJC.
