The Citrones in 1959

Eugene and Shirley Citrone of Cranberry Township celebrated 50 years of marriage with a surprise dinner party at their home with more than 145 friends and family in attendance.

Citrone married the former Shirley Dunlap on Sept. 5, 1959, at St. Vincent Basilica in Latrobe.

They have four children, Gene Citrone of Cranberry Township, John Citrone of Pittsburgh, Tim Citrone of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Cindy Witt of Harrisville.

They also have 11 grandchildren.

Mr. Citrone is president of Process Plants Corp. He is an alumnus of the University of Notre Dame.

Mrs. Citrone is a retired child development administrator. She is an alumna of Point Park College.

The Citrones are members of St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church in Cranberry Township.
