The Pittsburgh Huskies Bantam AA hockey team won the Rock and Roll Cup tournament in Cleveland recently.

The Huskies posted wins of 11-0 over the CYHO Fishermen, 6-2 over the Strongsville (Ohio) Mustangs, 4-3 over the Geauga (Ohio) Maple Leafs and 4-1 over the Mustangs in the championship game.

Shaun Welsh, Dustin Davis, Jason Edsall and Troy Double had four goals each for the Huskies. Eric Leya added three tallies and Christian Miller two.

Miller had six assists, Dylan Rice five and Noah Moody four.

Goalie Clay Bachman stopped 35 of 41 shots.

Amber Fichter of Mars scored seven goals as the Northern Steel U-14 girls soccer team won the Dulles National Tournament recently in Northern Virginia.Northern Steel outscored its opponents 13-1 in winning the tournament.Goalie Charlene Doerr of Portersville had three shutouts and Olivia Sharbaugh of Sarver had an assist.
