The Bishes in 1959

Bill and Miriam Bish of Smicksburg, Pa., will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Pantall Hotel in Punxsutawney.

Bish married the former Miriam Neal on Sept. 12, 1959, in Glade Run Presbyterian Church in Dayton, Pa.

They have five children, David Bish of DuBois, Mary Beth Grujich of Gaithersburg, Md., Mark Bish of Smicksburg, Dottie Kirk of Butler and Diane Green of Crittenden, Ky.

They also have 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Bish is retired from T.W. Phillips Gas and Oil Company.Mrs. Bish is a housewife.The Bishes are members of the Tri County Church of God in DuBois.
