Darrell Daubenspeck

Darrell Daubenspeck of Boyers will celebrate his 80th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Aug. 9 at Epiphany Social Hall in Boyers.

Daubenspeck was born Aug. 10, 1929. He married Lois Gorencic on Aug. 19, 1988.

He has six children, David "Bill" Daubenspeck of Harrisville, Renée Hewitt of Boyers, Susan Grossman of Boyers, Stacey Wolinski of Butler, Scott Daubenspeck of Kittanning and Mark Daubenspeck of Karns City. He also has two stepchildren, George Henry of Sandy Lake and Ralph Henry of Hermitage.

He has 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Daubenspeck is a member of the Boyers Sportsmen's Association and is the Butler County coordinator of the Pennsylvania Bluebird Society. He attends St. Alphonsus Parish.
