A.D. "Buzz" and Shirley Kelly of Mars celebrated 50 years of marriage with family dinners in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

Kelly married the former Shirley Standen on June 8, 1959, in the Little Church Around the Corner in New York City.

Kelly is retired from barbering in Mars and the Bulk Mail Center in Warrendale. He enjoys auctioneering and fishing at their cottage in Gore Bay, Manitoulin Island, Canada.

Mrs. Kelly is retired from 35 years of teaching high school English in the Mars School District. She enjoys genealogy and is an avid reader.

They are active members of many organizations, including the Valencia Area Historical Society and the Mars Area Historical Society.
