The Swidzinskis in 1939

Stanley and Helen Swidzinski of Butler celebrated 70 years of marriage with a family picnic.

Swidzinski married the former Helen Sziszurok on July 15, 1939, in St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church in Lyndora.

They have two children, Rich Swidzinski and Jerry Swidzinski.

They also have three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Swidzinski is retired from the power department of Armco-Butler Works after 44 years of service.

Mrs. Swidzinski is a homemaker.

The Swidzinskis belong to St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church.
