The Mid-County Pony Baseball League recently held two all-star games, one for 13-year olds and another for 14-year-olds, at Laura Doerr Park.
In the latter contest, Jordan Craton earned MVP honors by going 3-for-3 with a home run and five RBI to lead the National League to an 8-6 win over the American League.
Jake Olenich had two doubles and Eddie Stokart had a single and a double for the victors.
For the American League, Dakota Bruggeman singled and homered, while Robert Stamm and Travis Fogel each doubled.
The contest for 13 year olds was highlighted by MVP Evan Barber's hitting in a 14-6 victory for the American League.
Barber had three hits and four RBI He also pitched the fifth inning.
Also contributing to the win were Sean Daugherty with three hits and three RBI, Tyler Hlebiczki with three hits and Lucas Kunkle with two hits.
The National League was led by Adam Cogly with two base hits and Kody Houston with a double.
