Gee 60th anniversary
Robert and Betty Gee of the Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner.
Gee married the former Betty Carlson June 11, 1949, at the Third United Presbyterian Church in New Castle.
They have two children, Phyllis Victor of Raleigh, N.C., and Patti Godsen of Fombell.
They also have four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Gee is retired from working as a funeral director. He belongs to the Harmony Masonic Lodge 429, the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite in New Castle, the Keenagers in Portersville, the Zelienople Senior Center and the Ellwood City AARP.Mrs. Gee is retired from Country Clothing in Zelienople. She also worked as a clerk at the J.C. Penney regional accounting office in Mount Lebanon. She belongs to the Keenagers, the Zelienople Senior Center and the Red Hat Society.The Gees are members of Calvin Presbyterian Church in Zelienople.
