Occupation: Mayor
Family: Married, with two sons

QUESTION: Why did you decide to run for mayor?CLUTTER: I would like to see Mars stay a small local town and go into the future with a quaint small town atmosphere. When my husband and I first came into the borough in the early '70s, I met and was a friend of the then mayor Lester Kennedy. He was a very good mayor in the fact that he walked the streets of the borough and got to know a lot of people and tried helping them as much as he could. I would like to walk in his footsteps. I have been a Mars Borough councilwoman for more than two terms and am aware of what it takes to run a borough.
SETTLEMIRE: I want to continue to oversee the borough police department with fidelity and no micromanagement.
QUESTION: What are the three big issues facing your municipality?CLUTTER: No response
SETTLEMIRE: I want to continue to confront the drug problems, promote the town and hopefully get more businesses into the borough.
