There are two Republican candidates vying for that party’s 6-year seat on the board of supervisors and two candidates competing for the party’s nomination for a 4-year seat (Brian McMurdy is a candidate for both) in the May 19 primary.

There is one Democratic nominee whose name is on that party’s ballot for both offices.
