Marilyn E. Wass

Marilyn E. Wass, 75, of Richland Township died Thursday.

Born Feb. 28, 1934, in Tunnelton, Indiana County, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Elmer and Opal (Palmow) Hazlett. She also was preceded in death by one brother, the late Lloyd Hazlett.

Marilyn was a loving and caring person who enjoyed keeping a beautiful home, gardening, flowers, working in the yard and crocheting.

She was the beloved wife for 43 years of Edward E. Wass, who she married Aug. 28, 1965; loving mother of Sandra M. (Clayton) Homer of Franklin and David L. (Bobbi) Wass of Middlesex Township; and grandmother of Douglas Homer, Jonathan Homer, Samuel (Brandy) Homer, Katie (Mike) Tweedy and Dana (Jimmy) Papst. Also surviving are three great-grandchildren, Dillon Homer, Cambria Homer, and Gabriel Homer-Jones.

<B>WASS</B>— The family of Marilyn E. Wass, who died Thursday, March 26, 2009, will welcome friends from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at <B>Schellhaas Funeral Home Ltd.</B>, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. Services will be held at noon Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Mark A. Stewart officiating.
