The Butler Junior High boys track and field team traveled to Shaler Thursday and posted an 88-39 triumph over the Titans.

Butler has won 33 straight dual meets, dating back to 2005, and travels to North Allegheny Monday.

Winning events Thursday for the Golden Tornado were Jacob Alston in the 110 hurdles, long jump and high jump, Evan Bauer in the 1,600 meters, Bobby Vernick in the 800, Patrick Lokhaiser in the 200, Jordan Cratty in the 3,200 and Kolby Kriess in the long jump.

Butler's 400-meter relay team of Claude Clark, Kriess, Steven Shoemaker and Lokhaiser, along with the Tornado's 1,600-meter relay unit of Jeromee Geibel, Zack Collins, Shoemaker and Canan Roskovski also posted wins.
