Lois Steppling
Lois Steppling, 89, of Sarver died Monday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
Born July 20, 1919, in Cabot, she was the daughter of Harvey H. and Viola Bicker Miller.
She had been head cook at Buffalo Elementary School.
She was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church in Sarver, the United Methodist Women and the Senior Citizens of Buffalo Township.
She enjoyed cooking, baking and planting her garden.
Surviving are her daughter, Suzanne (Robert) Frick of Sarver; three sisters, Geraldine (Harold) Riemer of Cabot, Dolores Bogarty of Cheswick and Joan Jones of Charleston, S.C.; her granddaughter, Nicole Frick; and her sister-in-law, Mary Lois Miller of Cabot.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Herman J. Steppling, who died Aug. 14, 2006; a son, James David Steppling; and a brother, the Rev. John Miller.
<B>STEPPLING</B> — Friends of Lois Steppling, who died Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home Inc.</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Zion United Methodist Church.
