Lizzie Mae (Fair) Bowser, 92, of Cadogan died Monday at ACMH Hospital, East Franklin Township, Armstrong County.

Born June 20, 1916, in Clarion County, she was a daughter of the late James R. and Blanda E. (Shook) Fair.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Bowser was a very active member of the Church of God of Prophecy, Ford City, and did a lot of community service.

She enjoyed playing games, fishing, being with her family and friends and enjoying life to its fullest.

She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy June Gross of Ford City; two sons, Thomas Albert (Constance) Bowser Jr. of Cadogan and Richard Eugene (Shirley) Bowser of Kittanning; a sister, Blanda June (Walter) Troyan of Cadogan; 20 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Albert Bowser in 1979; a son, Perry Bryson Bowser in 2007; a sister, Dorothy Shimmons; and two brothers, Cloyd Fair and James L. Fair.

<B>BOWSER</B> — Friends of Lizzie Mae (Fair) Bowser, who died Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, will be welcomed by her family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Friday in the <B>WELCH FUNERAL HOME</B>, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City. The Rev. Wendell Flick will officiate.
