Dominic Oliver, an eighth grader at Butler Junior High School, recently helped his Pittsburgh Junior Penguins hockey team win the Pittsburgh Hornets Invitational.

Oliver scored eight points in the tournament, including a hat trick and a game-winning goal in a 6-4 championship game victory over the top-seeded Hornets.

Danielle DePolo, 9, of Center Township finished first as a yellow belt in step/sparring and first in weapons at a tae kwon do tournament held at LaRoche College Saturday.
