Caitlin Baxter had nine points and Mackenzie O'Donnell and Jennifer Barry seven apiece to lead the Butler ninth-grade girls basketball team (15-2) to a 37-36 victory over Bethel Park Wednesday.

Derek Ritenour's goal with three seconds left off assists from Nick Whann and Tanner Gilliland allowed the Butler freshman hockey team to tie Kittanning 1-1 on Wednesday.Clay Bachman made 25 saves for Butler, which will face Fox Chapel Feb. 19 at the Valley Sports Complex.
