Morgan McLaughlin scored 12 points and Olivia Wiest 11 as the Butler Catholic girls basketball team defeated Holy Sepulcher 36-19 recently.
Natalie Barkus added six points, Kayleigh Keep three and Molly Moses two.
In other action:
The Butler eighth-grade girls traveling team defeated Seneca Valley 35-19 as Morgan Pfabe scored eight points. Barkus and McLaughlin added six each.
Wiest and Ava Bonetti scored four points each, Sam Marak three, Emily Eyth and Rachel Konieczny two each.

John Spigelmyer scored twice and had two assists. Joe Price, Steve Pecora and Drew Sandora scored goals and goalie Adam Gaus had 20 saves.<B>Fox Chapel 10, Seneca Valley Varsity III7 — </B>Vanya Russo scored three goals while Kevin Goodnow and Andrew Williams scored twice each in a losing cause.
<B>Central Catholic 8, Butler 3 — </B>Charlie Beers paced Butler with a goal and two assists. Travis Grey and Alex Matthews also scored for the Golden Tornado.
The Pittsburgh Huskies PeeWee AAteam defeated the Wheeling Nailers 6-2 as Marcus Krstonich, Dustin Davis, Christian Miller, Eric Leya, Troy Double and Jake Snyder all scored goals.Goalie Clay Bachman made 13 saves.• Robbie Reichenbaugh netted three goals as the Armstrong Arrows Squirt A Major black team division squad blanked Westmoreland 6-0.The Arrows (6-2-2) also had goals from Zach Kutch, Jesse Toy and Tanner Stennet. Trevor Gilliland and Alex Culbertson added two assists apiece.
