Tanner Gilliland and Troy Double scored goals as Butler's freshman hockey team tied Hampton, 2-2, recently.
Double and Tanner Chuba added assists and goaltender Clay Bachman stopped 25 of 27 shots.
Butler (6-1-2) will play Pine-Richland at 9:40 p.m. Jan. 4 at the Ice Connection in Valencia.

The Pittsburgh Huskies (9-2) remained in first place in the PAHLPee Wee AA division with a 4-1 victory Sunday over the Pittsburgh Aviators.
The Huskies had dropped a 4-3 decision to the Pittsburgh Predators Saturday.
Dustin Davis scored three goals and Double one in the win over the Aviators. Bachman made 22 saves.
Double scored two goals and Davis one in the loss to the Predators.
The Huskies participate in the North Pittsburgh Wildcat Winter Shootout beginning at 12:45 p.m. Friday at Warrendale Bladerunners.'
Angie Nowacki and Mackenzie O'Donnell had 10 points apiece to lead the Butler girls team to a 35-32 victory over North Allegheny.
