The Armstrong Arrows Squirt A Major hockey team won two of three games recently.

The Arrows (5-2-2) defeated the Westmoreland Penguins 4-2. Trevor Gililand and Alex Culbertson each had a goal and an assist, and Robbie Reichenbaugh and Sam Long had a goal each. Christian Chybrzynski had 11 saves.

The Arctic Foxes defeated the Arrows 5-1, as Culbertson scored the lone Arrows goal.

Chybrzynski had 14 saves for his first shutout of the season as the Arrows blanked the Mount Lebanon Hornets 2-0. Long and Culbertson scored the goals.

Megan Paul scored 10 points as the Butler sixth-grade girls team defeated Deer Lakes 25-16 recently.Taylor Stobert added eight points, Jennifer Miller had five and Kayleigh Rivers had two.
