Anna Daugherty

Anna Daugherty of Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will mark her 102nd birthday with a celebration from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Sunnyview in the new activity room.

The former Anna Christie was born Oct. 27, 1906.

She married Anthony Daugherty Sr. He is deceased.

She has 10 children, Dorothy Snyder of Parker, Marian Strong of Royerford, Anna Sweeney of Butler, Edward Daugherty of Plattsburg, N.Y., Betty McClimans of Chatham, Va., Donna Weiland of Oak Forest, Ill., Doris Stephenson of Butler, James Daugherty of Ishpeming, Mich., Margaret Brainard of Warren, Ohio, and Mary Jane Furey of Fenelton. One son is deceased.

She also has 33 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
