Penn Street scored twice in the fourth quarter to snap a tie and produce a 20-6 Butler Area Midget Football League victory over Center Township last weekend.
The win gave the Cardinals (6-1) the league's regular season championship.
Chris Manning opened the scoring for Penn Street when he returned a punt 74 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter. Center Township (5-2) got even in the third quarter as Doug DeFrancis returned a punt 75 yards to the Penn Street 1-yard line, setting up Pat Lokhaiser's 1-yard scoring run.
Cardinals quarterback Shane Wilbert broke the tie by scoring on a 1-yard run on fourth down in the final quarter. Keenan Barlow then intercepted a Center Township pass and returned it 20 yards for a touchdown. Manning added a two-point conversion kick.

Meridian 26, South Butler 0 — Jordan Cratty got the Raiders (5-2) on the board with a 24-yard touchdown pass to Steve Shoemaker. Cratty added the conversion kick. Following a blocked punt, Cratty scored on a 24-yard run.Cratty added touchdown passes of 19 and 52 yards to Shoemaker later in the first half. There was no scoring in the second half. South Butler slipped to 0-7.
East Side 6, East Butler 0 — Barry Murray scored the lone points of the game on a 14-yard run in the first quarter for East Side (3-4).East Butler (2-5) had a chance to tie the game in the fourth period, but lost a fumble in the end zone on third down from the East Side 1-yard line.
