The Northern Crew Fury, Girls U-12 soccer team traveled to Akron, New York, last weekend to participate in "The Kick It First Tournament." Fury posted a perfect 4-0 record while scoring 23 goals and giving up none.

Earlier this spring, the Fury traveled to Baltimore (Md.) to play in the premiere Baltimore March Madness tournament. The Fury posted a 2-1-1 record, beating the 47th-ranked team in the nation and 9th in Region 1, Baltimore Bays, 2-1.

The Fury's recent success has earned them the No. 2 ranking in Pennsylvania West.

Players on the team include Emily Ferraro, Katie Flynn, Alexa Gray, Allison Iorio, Emily Jones, Claire Livingstone, Caterina LoPresti, Emily LoPresti, Chelsea McCartney, Emily Shumacher, Erika Wagner, Breann Wood, Logan Wright, Nicole Zirpoli, Patricia Glavin and Mary Kate Zahorchak.
