7:56 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Dixie L. Mennor, 60, of Fenelton struck Brenna Rathman, 18, of Butler as she was riding a bicycle in the intersection of Brady Street and Wilson Avenue. Rathman and Mennor's passenger, Bonnie Hile, 59, of Fenelton, each suffered minor injuries. Mennor and Hile were wearing seat belts.
Saturday — Erika Parson of Templeton, Armstrong County, was charged with nine counts of theft by unlawful taking and one count of theft by failure to make required disposition of funds after allegedly failing to deposit $190 into a business account while employed at Children's Community Care and used it for personal purposes.
5:30 p.m. Tuesday — Someone stole a 34 Glock 9mm gun belonging to Howard Bellaire, 47, of Imperial, Pa., from his lunchbox in the supply room at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Jefferson Township between 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.1:35 a.m. April 27 — Johnny Mack Brown, 26, of Butler was arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 68 in Summit Township.April 26 — Someone attempted to pry open the back door of a residence at 537 Muddy Creek Drive in Brady Township belonging to William King, 55, of Slippery Rock between Nov. 1 and April 26.2:39 p.m. April 25 — A car driven by Charles J. Welsh, 45, of Harmony and a tractor-trailer driven by Richard C. Armstrong, 44, of Aliquippa collided on Interstate 79 near Sawyer Road in Lancaster Township. Both drivers were wearing seat belts and were not injured.
12:25 p.m. Thursday — Todd R. Ruth, 32, of Greenville was charged with retail theft after he allegedly tried to steal two pairs of shorts valued at $42 from the Dickie's Outlet Store at the Prime Outlets.
11:48 a.m. April 27 — A township employee discovered the drinking fountain valve was broken off near Pavilion 2 at the Zelienople Community Park off East Beaver Street and the waterline cap unscrewed at the restroom near the upper ballfield.3:44 p.m. April 24 — Pedestrian Joshua McCool, 14, of Renfrew was uninjured when he was struck by a vehicle on West Grandview Avenue near the intersection with Main Street. Police said McCool darted from behind a parked car and into the path of a vehicle driven by James Funkhouser, 47, of Fombell, Beaver County. Harmony EMS evaluated the teenager and determined he was uninjured. No charges were filed.
11:11 p.m. April 18 — Arthur Massimiani, 67, of Pittsburgh was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and other traffic violations after police witnessed his vehicle driving too slowly on Route 19 and driving down the centerline near Lutz Road.3:35 p.m. April 11 — Nicholas A. Foster, 23, of Prospect was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, careless driving and several traffic violations after police were called to a one-vehicle accident. Foster's vehicle had struck an embankment and rolled onto its side on Route 68 near Pro Gas.
