Steven M. Podobensky, 37, of Butler, died Sunday in Akron, Ohio, after a short illness.

He was born Dec. 1, 1970, in Butler, the son of Daniel Podobensky and the late Gilda "Faye" Reaves Amber.

He was a Catholic.

Surviving are four sons, Steven S. Podobensky of Butler, Jonathon "J.D." Podobensky of Butler, Brandon Podobensky of Renfrew and Tyler Podobensky of Butler; his father of Butler; and a sister, Amy Peters of Beckley, W.Va.

<B>PODOBENSKY</B> — Friends of Steven M. Podobensky, who died Sunday, March 30, 2008, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St.Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Meridian, with the Rev. James Murphy officiating. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Burial Estates.
