Patricia (Fennell) Dietrich, 84, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026.

Born in Grove City, Pat had the opportunity to live in many different places, including Germany, Virginia, Iowa and Oklahoma.

Her favorite job was working at a clothing store and what luck, there was a shoe store right next door, so her paycheck was usually spent before she made it home. She was also known as a master gardener who planted amazing flower gardens and enjoyed birdwatching.

She returned to Butler, where she lived for several years, before she moved to Kansas to be close to her daughter and son-in-law. While in Kansas, she enjoyed playing bingo with her friends, shopping, restaurants and movies.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Charlotte Fennell, and brother, Ronald Fennell; and is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Kevin Schorno.

A private celebration of life will be planned for a future date.
