Ruth G. Weaver, 84, of Zelienople died Saturday at Creek Meadows, Franklin Township.

She was born Nov. 19, 1923, in Zelienople.

Mrs. Weaver was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Zelienople.

She was a 1941 graduate of Zelienople High School and had worked at Robinson Industries.

She is survived by a nephew, Donald Weaver of Clermont, Fla., and two nieces, Karen Pryor of Apollo and Dianne Thompson of Jamestown, Pa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. "Lefty" Weaver, who died June 25, 2007, and a nephew, Jim Weaver.
