Helen L. Wallace
Helen L. Wallace, 92, of Butler died Saturday at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.
Born July 16, 1915, in Indiana, Pa., she was a daughter of Alva and Myrtle Byers Deemer.
She was a retired beautician and owned and operated Helen's Beauty Shop in her home on Sunset Drive in Center Township for more than 40 years. She also was a homemaker, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Wallace was a member of the Hill United Presbyterian Church.
Her husband, William L. Wallace, whom she married Oct. 21, 1939, died Dec. 15, 2001. Two brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Randall (Sandra) Diehl of Prospect; three sons and their wives, George W. and Dot Wallace of Hamilton, Ohio, Ken C. and Betsy Wallace of Saxonburg and Ronald A. Wallace of Phoenix, Ariz.; three grandchildren; a great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
